Carrie and Todd Allen are pleased to announce the opening of Carnahan’s Tavern at the corner of 4^th and Main in Carbondale, CO.  After years of entertaining family and friends at their home in our small mountain town, this duo is thrilled to bring that eccentric sense of hospitality to familiar faces and strangers alike.

Operating under the alias Black Nugget for many years, this local watering hole offers up quality fare. You won’t find pretensions here, only inexpensive frill-free drinks, tv’s adorning many walls, and the only public pool tables in Carbondale.  A perfect venue for live music, enjoy drinking during happy hour and dancing into the dim hours of the morning. When “your horns are showing,” don’t worry, Carrie will know. She’ll keep the liquor flowing and the customers in check. Count on that.

In addition to the many simple (and overdue) changes you’ll find in Carnahan’s Tavern, expect new, eclectic bands to grace the stage, extended hours for special sporting events, guest bartender night, and drink specials that span the weekend. 

Bringing a new look, new booze, and a breath of fresh air, the Allen’s invite old customers and new to join them all summer. Find drink specials, cordial bartenders, and surely, many local faces who’ve found a genuine good time.
